SRK hurt on film sets,
discharged
MUMBAI: Actor Shah
Rukh Khan, who
was injured while shooting for his forthcoming film, Happy New Year, at a
five-star hotel in the western suburbs on Thursday afternoon, was discharged
after undergoing a CT scan.
Khan's friend and physician Dr Ali Irani told TOI, "He is fine. He has undergone a CT scan and there is no reason to worry.'' commissioner of police (west region) Vishwas Nangre-Patil said the actor refused to file a police complaint. "Since Khan was unwilling to file a case, we have not recorded statements from him or others concerned with the incident," an official said.
A statement released from Khan's office said, "Mr Khan had a minor accident on the sets while shooting. He has a minor injury and has got necessary medical aid. Mr Khan is absolutely fine now. '
